Uzbekistan national punished for disturbing a lynx in Russia
A 44-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan was detained in the Russian city of Chelyabinsk for trespassing into an animal shelter.
When security personnel apprehended him, the man identified himself as "Interpol's chief welder" and threatened them with severe consequences.
It was later revealed that he had come to the shelter looking for an acquaintance with whom he had previously consumed alcohol.
Police drew up an administrative report against the man for petty hooliganism. He was reportedly residing in Russia legally.
