Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan are working on a joint project to supply renewable electricity to European markets.

Under the project, solar and wind energy generated in Turkistan is planned to be transmitted to Azerbaijan via the Caspian Sea, and from there to Europe. The three nations have agreed to cooperate on interconnecting their energy systems and developing infrastructure for electricity transmission. Technical work on the project is currently underway.

The energy corridor is scheduled to become operational in 2032. The project is expected to strengthen energy cooperation among Turkic states and facilitate the export of green energy to international markets.
