Uzbekistan joins the “Shusha Declaration”

The Russian publication Iznanka reported that Uzbekistan has joined the “Shusha Declaration” concluded between Turkey and Azerbaijan in 2021.
This declaration provides for in-depth cooperation in the defense, military, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Now the declaration has taken a trilateral form, serving to strengthen military-political cooperation in Central Asia and the South Caucasus.
The three countries plan to assist each other in the event of an external threat or conflict, conduct joint military exercises and exchange intelligence. The document is expected to be ratified by parliaments in the coming days.
