Uzbekistan Introduces 30-Day Visa-Free Regime for Indian Citizens
Starting September 1, Indian citizens can enter Uzbekistan visa-free for up to 30 days.
To qualify, they must hold a valid multiple-entry business or tourist visa issued by the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, South Korea, a Schengen country, Japan, Australia, or New Zealand, and present an airline ticket to their home country or a third country.
The new arrangement was agreed upon during Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Uzbekistan. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said the new policy would further increase travel and transportation between the two countries.
