Uzbekistan in the TOP-7 in terms of tourist arrivals

According to the World Tourism Organization, Uzbekistan was among the TOP-7 countries in the world with the fastest growing foreign tourist arrivals in January-September 2025. During this period, the number of international tourists visiting the country increased by 73% compared to 2019.
In the European region, Uzbekistan ranked 2nd in terms of tourist arrivals compared to 2019. In the first nine months of 2025, tourist arrivals increased by 13% compared to 2024, bringing the country to the TOP-4 fastest growing destinations in Europe.
In 2025, Uzbekistan set new records. More than 10.7 million foreign tourists visited in 11 months. The volume of tourism services exports exceeded $ 4.4 billion.
In addition to Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, interest in ecological and gastronomic tourism is also growing, indicating that Uzbekistan's position in the global tourism market is increasingly strengthened.
