Uzbekistan imposes temporary restrictions on methane gas stations

The Ministry of Energy reported that measures are being taken to stabilize the supply of natural gas due to a decrease in pressure in the main gas pipelines. In this regard, from January 8, methane gas stations will operate from 10:00 to 16:00. In the Fergana Valley, working hours will be determined depending on the gas pressure situation, in agreement with local khokimiyats. The priority task is to ensure uninterrupted gas supply to households, public transport and social facilities.
The restrictions are temporary, and gas pressure is currently being brought back to normal.
