Uzbekistan has become a leader among trade partners of the EAEU

Since the establishment of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the volume of trade with Uzbekistan has increased 3 times.
Uzbekistan ranks first among the trade partners of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) in the Commonwealth of Independent States. This was announced by the Minister of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Sergey Glazev.

According to him, the close cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan has brought practical results in terms of increasing the volume of trade and economic cooperation. Since the establishment of the EAEU, the volume of trade with Uzbekistan has increased 3 times, and the total volume of the EAEU's foreign trade with the CIS countries is almost half.

According to the ECEC data, in 2021 alone, the trade volume of the union with Uzbekistan increased by almost three times compared to the previous period and reached 11.2 billion dollars. Including export increased by 17.9%, import by 39.1%.
