Uzbekistan ends match against Portugal with a big defeat

In the 2nd round of the 2026 World Cup group stage, the Uzbekistan national team lost to Portugal with a score of 5:0.
For Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo scored a double, another goal was scored by Nuno Mendes. In the second half, Abduvohid Nematov became the author of an own goal, and Rafael Leao's goal put the final point in the match.
Uzbekistan scored through Aziz Ganiev, but after a VAR check, the goal was disallowed due to a foul.
