Uzbekistan began issuing permits to applicants

In Uzbekistan, it was announced that entrance tests for higher education institutions for the 2023/2024 academic year will begin on August 1. Today, July 28, the issuance of permits to applicants has begun.

Applicants can get an "Applicant's permit" to participate in the tests by entering their personal identification number and passport series and number on the "My.uzbmb.uz" site.

Applicants must come to the test with a passport (ID card) and an applicant's permit before the specified time.

"Applicants who come with a copy of their passport or other documents, as well as those who arrive late, will not be admitted to the tests," the message says.

Entrance tests to higher education institutions will last from 11 to 13 days, depending on the number of applicants in the regions and the capacity of the buildings where the tests will be held, and will be fully completed on August 13.

For the 2023/2024 academic year, 948,486 of the 1,018,007 applicants registered for the bachelor's education programs of higher education institutions will take part in the tests.
