Uzbekistan and Serbia Sign Joint Declaration

During official talks held in Tashkent, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan and President Aleksandar Vučić of Serbia signed a Joint Declaration, marking a new stage in bilateral cooperation.

The two leaders discussed ways to further strengthen political dialogue, expand economic ties, and enhance cultural and scientific exchange.

Following the talks, more than 10 intergovernmental and interagency agreements were signed, covering key areas such as:

• investment and economy,

• healthcare,

• tourism and education,

• science and culture,

• technology and artificial intelligence,

• diplomatic training,

• labor migration and sports.

At the end of the meeting, the presidents took part in a tree-planting ceremony at the Kuksaroy residence, symbolizing friendship and partnership between the two nations.
