Uzbekistan and Qatar establish military cooperation
On May 21 of this year, a delegation led by the Minister of Defense of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Kholmukhammadov paid an official visit to the capital of Qatar, Doha. As part of the visit, the delegation met with the Deputy Prime Minister of Qatar and Minister of State for Defense Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al Thani.
The talks discussed regional security issues, the development of military cooperation, and areas of joint coordination. At the end of the meeting, a memorandum on military cooperation between Uzbekistan and Qatar was signed.
