Uzbekistan and Palestine signed the Protocol on political consultations

A meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palestine Riad Malki was held in Tashkent.
"Our historical ties formed over the centuries serve as a solid foundation for expanding relations in many directions. We are ready to support the businessmen of the two countries in exploring the markets of Uzbekistan and Palestine," said the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs published on August 20.

Also, on August 21, the Protocol on political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Palestine was signed.

The document defines the priority directions of mutual relations, the specific goals to be achieved and the main steps.

The official release did not mention other details of the meeting.
