Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan will host the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup

At the next meeting of the FIFA Council, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan were determined to host the 2027 under-20 World Cup.
It is the second most prestigious tournament after the National Teams Championship held by FIFA. Uzbekistan will host such a Mundial for the first time.

The FIFA U-20 World Cup has been held since 1977. The most wins were by Argentina (6 times) and Brazil (5 times).
