Uzbekistan Airways asked those going to Russia not to take incense with them

Uzbekistan Airways reminded the passengers going to Russia that frankincense is included in the list of plants containing narcotics and controlled in the country.

According to the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, the harmala (incense) plant is included in the list of plants containing narcotics and controlled in Russia.

All actions related to the import of incense into the country are subject to criminal liability in accordance with the relevant article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
