Uzbekistan aims to eradicate poverty by 2030
Uzbekistan has set a goal of completely eradicating poverty by 2030. This was announced by Farrukh Toshpulatov, a representative of the Ministry of Employment.
According to him, the goal of reducing the poverty rate by half by 2030 was achieved as early as 2025. The main task now is to completely eliminate poverty.
According to the data, the poverty rate has fallen from 35% in 2017 to 4%.
In addition, 1 million microprojects have been launched and 1.8 million jobs have been created over the past four years. Around 700,000 entrepreneurs have established sustainable businesses.
