Uzbek woman falls from 4th floor in Turkey, condition critical
A 22-year-old Uzbek woman from Namangan province fell from the fourth floor of an apartment building in the Turkish city of Izmir. The victim was taken to a state hospital in critical condition. Doctors assess her condition as critical.
It was reported that the woman had hearing and speech impairments. She married a Turkish citizen in a religious ceremony, but the marriage was not officially registered. They lived with the groom's relatives in Izmir. Her husband, like her, is also a hearing and speech impaired person.
A criminal case has been opened and an investigation is underway. The situation is under the control of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul.
