Uzbek taken away by Kyrgyz border guards returned to his homeland
Videos have been circulating on social networks showing an Uzbek citizen being beaten at the Kyrgyz border crossing point "Kaypas" on the Rishton-Sokh route.
According to the Sokh district administration, a misunderstanding arose between Kyrgyz border guards and an Uzbek citizen. The situation was brought under control as a result of rapid measures, and the citizen was returned to the territory of Uzbekistan. During the dialogue with the participation of representatives of both sides, the situation was resolved peacefully, and the parties apologized for the misunderstanding.
The administration called on citizens not to believe unconfirmed information.
