Uzbek students lead Central Asia with 15 medals at Universiade-2025
Uzbekistan won 15 medals (4 gold, 4 silver, 7 bronze) at the 2025 World Summer Universiade in Germany, taking 13th place overall. With this result, the country recorded the best performance in Central Asia.
53 students from 18 universities participated in the competition in 11 sports: archery, athletics, judo, rowing, gymnastics, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo WT and a total of 5 thousand athletes from 136 countries participated in the Universiade.
