Uzbek Regions to Partner with U.S. States for Cooperation

By presidential instruction, each region of Uzbekistan will establish partnerships with specific U.S. states. The initiative aims to expand ties between local entrepreneurs and foreign partners.
At a meeting on foreign investment, it was noted that investment volume is expected to reach $33.5 billion in the third quarter of this year. Exports have reached $23 billion, a 31% increase compared to last year, although some regions saw declines in export performance.
The President instructed officials to ensure an additional $7.3 billion in exports by year’s end, attract new investments, and access new markets.
