Uzbek man killed in garbage truck explosion in Russia
A 46-year-old Uzbek citizen died at the scene after an explosion occurred during a garbage truck loading operation in the Russian city of Vladikavkaz on April 17.
According to preliminary information, the explosion was caused by a dangerous object in a garbage container. A criminal case has been opened into the incident. Investigations are currently underway.
The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Rostov-on-Don has taken control of the situation and is taking measures to repatriate the body of the deceased.
