Uzbek driver jailed in Russia after causing deaths of three people.

A citizen of Uzbekistan has been sentenced to nine years in a penal colony for causing a traffic accident involving 12 vehicles in the Russian city of Ufa.
The 28-year-old Uzbek national did not hold a driver's license. He was operating a Shacman truck despite a faulty braking system.
According to court records, the driver overloaded the vehicle beyond the permitted limit, failed to account for road conditions, and was speeding. Consequently, the truck went out of control and collided with 12 other vehicles. Three people died in the accident, and one passenger sustained serious injuries.
The court sentenced the driver to nine years of imprisonment. Additionally, he was banned from driving for three years after completing his sentence.
