Commercial oil inventories in the United States fell by 10.6 million barrels in a week to 422.9 million barrels as of August 25. This was reported by the US Department of Energy. The ministry clarified that the current level of reserves is about 3 percent below the average of the last five years, which is typical for this time of year. Earlier, it was reported that Saudi Arabia will sharply increase the price of oil for European countries in September. But Saudi Arabia has decided not to change fuel prices for American buyers next month.
