Unfit for consumption meat was stopped when it was brought into Tashkent

The press service of the capital IIBB informs that the importation of unfit meat in Tashkent has been put to an end.

The situation was determined by the staff of the Quarantine Measures Support Group of the IIBB JTSB of Tashkent city. S.T., who was moving in the direction of Kashkadarya-Tashkent, was arrested by IIB officers at the "Erkin" YPX facility. when the Isuzu truck he was driving was stopped and checked, it was found that there were 6 live horses and one horse meat weighing about 350 kilograms in its trunk.

The meat product was tested at the Food Safety Laboratory and found to be unfit for consumption. Accordingly, the low-quality meat product was destroyed in an appropriate manner.
