Underground Pipe Bursts in Tashkent, Causing Road to Collapse
A section of the road on Glinka Street in Tashkent’s Yakkasaray District collapsed after an underground pipe burst. Several vehicles were damaged in the incident.
An emergency repair team and specialists from Veolia Energy arrived at the scene. One person sustained minor injuries.
Traffic on Glinka Street is currently temporarily restricted. The cause of the incident is being investigated.
The Tashkent City Hokimiyat has taken the situation under special control.
