On the night of June 18, Ukraine launched a massive drone attack on the Russian capital Moscow and the Moscow region. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that air defense systems continued to destroy drones heading towards the city. According to him, about 180 drones flying towards Moscow were shot down during the night attack. Some drones reached the territory of the Moscow Oil Refinery.
Earlier, on June 16, it was reported that a drone attack was also carried out on the Moscow Oil Refinery. According to information, the strike was carried out on one of the main production units of the plant and the operation of the enterprise was temporarily suspended.
