UAE cyclists took a "test drive" in the sports laboratory of the Institute of Physical Education in Ashgabat

The cyclists of the Abu Dhabi club, who arrived in Turkmenistan, visited the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Education, where a tour of the laboratories of the Faculty of Olympic Sports was organized for them. Here you can determine the functional capabilities of athletes - in what form and what condition they are. The results of these studies help in the future in preparing for international competitions.
The Faculty of Olympic Sports was opened at the Institute to train highly qualified specialists and athletes on a scientific basis in the leading sports that are included in the program of the Olympic Games. Racers from the United Arab Emirates underwent an easy "test drive" in a sports laboratory - using the latest devices, they measured their lung volume and body fat. The guests also visited a special "Mining Studio" and noted the high level of equipment that meets the most modern requirements.
The athletes of the Abu Dhabi club arrived in Turkmenistan to conduct joint training with local cyclists and get acquainted with the process of preparing for the competition, according to the website of the university.
