Two Tajik taekwondo players go to Lebanon to participate in the Asian Championship

The team of the Taekwondo national team of Tajikistan will start in one of the important tournaments of the season, it includes two juniors in the weight categories of 53 and 55 kg

Abdujafari Bahadur (53 kg) and Muhammadreza Shukurov (55 kg) will represent Tajikistan at the Asian Championship among juniors and youths, the Sport website reports.

The WT Asian Junior and Youth Taekwondo Championships will take place from 2 to 4 September in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.

It is noted that the best fighters from all regions of Asia will take part in this competition.

Recall that Maryam Abdurahimova, a 9th grade student of secondary school No. 21 of the Shahmansur district of Dushanbe, recently won a gold medal at the World Taekwondo Championship (ITF), held in Astana.

In Kazakhstan, on August 27, the World Taekwondo Championship ended with the participation of more than 900 athletes from 45 countries. Tajikistan was represented by 24 athletes at the competition.
