On January 8, two people who went out for a snowmobile trip on the Kamchik Pass died under a pile of snow. They went to the mountain with their classmates to relax and fell from the mountain due to their carelessness and died on the spot. It turned out that the 31-year-old citizen fell while taking a selfie on a remote part of the road. When another companion who wanted to help him fell down, a several-meter pile of snow covered them.

Forensic medical examinations have been ordered to determine the cause of death of the deceased.
