Two nurses were stabbed at a maternity hospital in the Qo‘shtepa district of the Fergana region. One of them died as a result of her injuries.
The incident occurred on September 7. According to preliminary information, the person who stabbed the nurses was a woman. It is reported that she locked the nurses in a room and attacked them with a knife.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. The female suspect has been detained under Article 221 of the Criminal Procedure Code. The motive for the attack and other details of the incident are currently being investigated.
