Turkmenistan took part in the II Forum of representatives of the Parliamentary Committees of the EAG countries

The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the II Forum of representatives of the Parliamentary Committees of the countries of the Eurasian Group on Combating Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism, which discussed the improvement of anti-terrorist legislation, Kazinform reports.
The meeting was held in Almaty with the participation of parliamentarians from 9 EAG member countries - Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Armenia, the United States, the CSTO and the UN Counter-Terrorism Office were also represented as observers at the Forum.
The parties discussed the practice of legislative regulation, shared their experience and examples of the development of laws aimed at curbing the channels for financing terrorist and extremist activities.
In the Final Declaration at the end of the Forum, the delegates called on the EAG member states to harmonize their approach to the legislative regulation of issues related to combating the financing of terrorism.
