Turkmenistan presented its achievements in the field of population at a conference in Geneva

The delegation of Turkmenistan, led by the Minister of Health and Medical Industry Atageldy Germanov, took part in the regional conference “Population and Development: Ensuring Rights and Choice,” which was held in Geneva on October 19-20.
The conference was hosted by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNPF).
The UNECE regional report, representing a five-year periodic review, was presented. Based on this report and previous periodic reviews, the successes, effective strategies and programs developed by countries in this direction are highlighted.
