Turkmenistan and Tajikistan signed a large package of cooperation documents

A total of 24 documents were signed as a result of negotiations between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in Dushanbe, according to the website of the leader of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The heads of state signed the Declaration on deepening the strategic partnership between the countries, which Rahmon called historical and a factor in the development and stability of the region.
Authorized members of the delegations signed 23 documents. Among them are agreements between governments on cooperation in the field of healthcare, veterinary medicine, ensuring international cybersecurity, technical protection of information, and plant quarantine.
The following documents were also signed:
- "Roadmap" for expanding cooperation in the field of agriculture between the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2023-2025;
– Program of joint activities (“Roadmap”) to expand further cooperation in the field of increasing the cargo flow and activating multimodal transportation between the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2023-2025;
– Protocol between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan on mutual cooperation within the framework of international organizations;
– Memorandum between the Financial Monitoring Service under the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan and the Department of Financial Monitoring under the National Bank of Tajikistan on cooperation in the field of combating the legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime, the financing of terrorism and the financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction;
— Memorandum between the Central Bank of Turkmenistan and the National Bank of Tajikistan;
– Agreement between the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the Customs Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on organizing the exchange of preliminary information on goods and vehicles moving across the customs border;
– Agreement between the mayor’s office of the Mary region of Turkmenistan and the Executive body of state power of the Khatlon region of the Republic of Tajikistan;
– Agreement between the mayor’s office of the Balkan region of Turkmenistan and the Executive body of state power of the Sughd region of the Republic of Tajikistan on cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian areas;
– Memorandum between the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan;
– Memorandum on trade cooperation between the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan;
– Memorandum between the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan on cooperation in the field of labor and employment of the population;
– Memorandum between the Turkmenavtoulaglary Agency of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan on the development of international transportation;
– Memorandum of cooperation between the State Committee of Turkmenistan on Statistics and the Agency on Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan;
– Memorandum between the Main State Service “Turkmenstandartlary” and the State Supervision Service for Safety in Industry and Mining under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan;
– Memorandum between the Scientific Center for Strategic Studies of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan;
– Memorandum of cooperation between the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan;
– Memorandum between the State News Agency of Turkmenistan TDH and the National News Agency of Tajikistan “Khovar”;
— Memorandum of mutual cooperation between the National Trade Union Center of Turkmenistan and the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of the Republic of Tajikistan.
