Turkmenistan and Georgia discussed the increase in international road transport

Ashgabat hosted a regular meeting of the joint commission of Turkmenistan and Georgia on international road transport. This was reported on the website of the Turkmenavtoulaglary Agency of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
The Turkmen side was headed by the Chairman of the Turkmenavtoulaglary Agency Guvanchmyrat Akmammedov, the delegation from Georgia was headed by the Head of the Land Transport Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Gamkrelidze.
Having reviewed the current state of cooperation between the two countries in the field of international road transport, the parties discussed the prospects for building partnerships and increasing the volume of international road transport.
Georgia is a long-standing partner of Turkmenistan in the field of transport and logistics. A significant part of cargo transportation between countries is carried out in transit.
