Turkmen delegation took part in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Canada

The Turkmen delegation took part in the meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Vancouver, Canada. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The country's delegation was headed by the Chairman of the Parliament for International and Inter-Parliamentary Relations B. Mukhamedov. The event was attended by parliamentarians and representatives of OSCE participating States.
During the meeting, issues related to security, cooperation and democracy in the OSCE region were touched upon.

The agenda was to discuss topical issues related to countering terrorism, improving information security, and combating organized crime. Among the topical topics of the meeting are the promotion of democracy and human rights, sustainable development and environmental protection.

In the speech of Turkmen diplomats, the state's commitment to peaceful diplomacy, economic and cultural cooperation, and environmental sustainability was noted.
