For the dough:
500 g flour
1 tablespoon yeast
200 ml warm water
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
a little salt
For the stuffing:
500 g minced beef
1 onion
1 bell pepper
2 tomatoes
a little salt, pepper and herbs
Preparation:
In a bowl, mix warm water, flour, salt, yeast and vegetable oil and knead a soft dough. While the dough is resting, prepare the stuffing. Add finely chopped onion, pepper, tomatoes and spices ground in a blender to the stuffing and mix well. Then, the rested dough is divided into pieces and spread out. The stuffing is placed on the spread dough and the edges are closed in the form of a boat. Finally, the pitas are baked in a preheated oven at 200°C for 15–20 minutes. Our delicious Turkish pide is ready!
