In Turkey, a law has been adopted that requires the owners of houses that rent out to tourists to get a special permit for this. This was reported by the official publication of the government, Resmi Gazete. "To rent housing for tourism purposes, you must obtain permission before entering into a rental agreement for tourism purposes. In addition, a special sign must be hung at the entrance of houses rented for tourist purposes," the document says. Permits are issued by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and they can also be obtained through the regional administration. The new requirements do not apply to housing rented for more than 100 days. A fine of 100,000 Turkish liras (330,000 rubles at the Central Bank exchange rate at the time of publication) is provided for each object rented out without permission. If the illegal transfer of houses continues after the first fine, a fine of 500,000 - 1 million liras (1.65 million - 3.3 million rubles) may be imposed. In September of this year, the president of the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ali Bahar, told the Hurriyet newspaper that there is a problem of "back door tourism" in the region, where foreigners buy dozens of apartments (this number can reach 60-70) and rent them out. he talked about the creation of illegal hotels. According to the publication, such houses for rent are not licensed and therefore could not be inspected. This has resulted in tax losses and created several security risks. Source: uzreport.uz
