Tuition fees to be covered for children of sanitation workers with 10 years of service

Applications have opened in Uzbekistan for the “Guardian of Nature’s Harmony” competition. Applications will be accepted from September 1 to October 1.

The competition is open to workers who have performed effectively for at least 10 years in waste collection, transportation, disposal and sorting, as well as landscaping.

❗️Applicants must submit:
🔹 a copy of their passport or ID card;
🔹 a 3×4 cm color photo;
🔹 a personal information form;
🔹 a reference letter describing their work and achievements over the past three years;
🔹 a certificate and copy of the contract confirming that their child or grandchild is studying at a state university on a tuition-fee basis;
🔹 a document confirming the student’s relationship to the nominee.

The 100 winners of the competition will have one year of tuition fees covered for their child or grandchild studying at a state higher education institution on a tuition-fee basis. The payment cannot exceed 30 times the basic calculation amount (BHM).

Students who benefit from the program will be required to work for at least three years in state bodies and organizations in the future.

The competition has been held since 2024 based on a presidential decree. In 2025, 916.718 million soums were allocated to cover the tuition fees of the winners’ children.
