US President Donald Trump has warned that “very, very hard” strikes on Iran could be launched in the next 2-3 weeks. He said the strikes could send Iran “back to the Stone Age.”
In his address to the nation, Trump said the war was drawing to a close and that the US was prepared to step up its military response. He called the latest military action a “major victory” and described the war as an “investment” in the future of Americans.
Following the statement, Iran’s state news agency IRNA responded on social media. They shared a map of the ancient Achaemenid state and wrote a sarcastic comment, “Here’s Iran in the Stone Age. Do you want to restore it?”
