Trump launches $1 million Trump Gold Card

Donald Trump has launched the Trump Gold Card program — an accelerated immigration visa for wealthy foreigners who can pay at least $1 million. This visa provides a direct pathway to citizenship for eligible applicants.
Under the program, the $1 million payment is considered proof of “significant benefit to the state.” Companies wishing to sponsor employees would need to pay $2 million plus additional fees. A “platinum” version costing $5 million is expected to be released soon. Applicants must also pay a non-refundable $15,000 service fee before applying.
The program has been criticized by some Democrats as unfair and beneficial mainly to the rich. Trump emphasized that the Gold Card is intended for highly skilled professionals and will help create jobs.
