Trump delays Iran power plant strikes by 10 days
Trump has postponed a planned attack on Iran's energy infrastructure for 10 days, until April 6. He said the decision was made at Iran's request.
Trump said talks were ongoing and "going well, despite the false claims of the fake news media and other sources." Tehran denies any talks with Washington.
Trump had previously threatened to strike energy facilities if Iran did not lift its blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, through which oil and gas are transported from the Persian Gulf. According to The New York Times, Iran is not accepting a temporary ceasefire and is demanding guarantees from the United States and Israel that it will not attack.
