Trump Declares Himself Acting President of Venezuela
US President Donald Trump has posted a post on Truth Social, declaring himself acting president of Venezuela from January 2026. He has also retained the position of US president. Earlier, Trump said that the American leadership should take control of the situation in the country after US forces captured Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. Currently, Delcy Rodriguez is acting president of Venezuela.
