Trump Calls the Epstein Case a Plot Against Him

On February 3, during a press conference at the White House, Donald Trump reacted sharply to a CNN journalist’s question about Jeffrey Epstein’s victims and recently released documents. Trump refused to answer the question, calling the reporter “the worst journalist” and CNN a “dirty organization,” and instead turned to personal attacks. He also said:
“Nothing about me came out — it was a plot against me,” rejecting allegations linked to Epstein.

In addition, the U.S. Department of Justice removed thousands of documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein case from its website. This was because victims’ personal data had remained publicly accessible. Lawyers said the information had not been properly redacted and posed a threat to the safety of nearly 100 victims. Some of the victims reported receiving death threats.
