The state of emergency was registered in the Shugnan district of the Gorno-Badakhshan region of the country.

Information about the incident was provided by the Republican Center for Seismic Predictive Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan.

The earthquake coordinates were: 37.63 degrees north latitude; 72.25 degrees east longitude.

The depth of the source was 129 kilometers.

The Committee for Emergency Situations of Tajikistan has not yet commented on the incident. There is also no information about whether the emergency caused any damage. There was also no information about the victims.
