Train racing in Australia

Every year in Australia, a drag racing competition is held on vintage steam locomotives. In the races held as part of the Hunter Valley Steamfest festival, two or four trains full of passengers compete over a distance of 30 kilometers between the cities of Newcastle and Maitland.
