Traffic Police Officer Hits 17-Year-Old Girl in Bukhara
The incident occurred on April 27 in the Vobkent district. An officer of the Regional Traffic Safety Department, driving his "Cobalt" vehicle, hit a 17-year-old pedestrian who was crossing the road at a marked crosswalk.
As a result of the accident, the pedestrian sustained minor injuries. The officer took the girl to the hospital to ensure she received first aid.
The Vobkent district prosecutor's office is currently conducting a pre-investigation inquiry into the situation.
