🍅 Tomato festival held in Spain

Yesterday, August 27, in Valencia, Spain, there was the annual festival “La Tomatina”, held on the last Wednesday of August. About 20 thousand people take part in this “tomato battle”, which lasts 1 hour, and more than 120 tons of ripe tomatoes are thrown together. When the battle is over, the streets are washed with water, while the acid of the tomatoes helps to clean the city.
