Tokayev himself met Emomali Rahmon at Astana airport

Tajik President Emomali Rahmon arrived in Astana in connection with the completion of his working trip to Kazakhstan.

This was reported in the press service of the head of state.

It is noted that the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, met him at the capital's airport.

In addition, in honor of the arrival of President Emomali Rahmon, the air harbor of Astana was decorated with the flags of both countries.

The parties plan bilateral meetings, as well as visits to events dedicated to the Days of Culture of Tajikistan.

Recall that the purpose of the trip of the Tajik leader to Kazakhstan was negotiations with the head of the republic, as well as visiting the Days of Culture of Tajikistan.

At the official meeting, the parties discussed issues of trade, economic, transport, logistics and investment cooperation.

During the visit, the president was accompanied by Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin, as well as the ministers of culture, agriculture, industry and the head of the Sughd region, Rajabboy Ahmadzoda.
