Tokayev congratulated Rahmon on Tajikistan's Independence Day

ASTANA, September 9 - Sputnik. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a telegram to his Tajik colleague Emomali Rahmon, in which he congratulated the president and the Tajik people on the national holiday - Independence Day, Akorda reported.

“I note with great satisfaction the high dynamics of Kazakh-Tajik cooperation, which is filled with new content and fully meets the level of strategic partnership and alliance,” the press service quotes the words of congratulations from the head of state.

Tokayev, Akorda added, expressed confidence that thanks to joint efforts, the multifaceted relations between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan will continue to be comprehensively strengthened for the benefit and interests of the peoples of the two countries.

“The head of state wished Emomali Rahmon further success in responsible government activities, and the fraternal people of Tajikistan - well-being and prosperity,” the press service noted.
