An enterprise for the production of tobacco will be built in the free economic zone "Dangara" in the south of Tajikistan.
This was reported by the State Committee for Investments and State Property Management of the Republic.
An investment agreement on the construction of the plant was signed between the government of Tajikistan and the company OXUS INTERASIA FZKO LLC.
Investments in the amount of 20 million dollars will be invested in the construction and commissioning of the tobacco enterprise.
After the development of production in the FEZ "Dangara", about 80 new jobs will open.
The launch of new production will help develop the country's accelerated industrialization program for 2020-2025 - this is one of the four strategic goals of the state.
The terms of construction and commissioning of the facility have not yet been announced.
