Three universities of Tajikistan entered the Eurasian Association of Universities

Membership in the Council provides a good basis for cooperation in the exchange of experience in all areas of university activity with leading universities of the CIS countries

The Tajik National University, Sadriddin Aini State Pedagogical University and the University of Law, Business and Politics have joined the Eurasian Association.

This was announced during a press conference by the rector of the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics in Khujand Mumin Sharifzoda.

He said that at the meeting of the XV Council of the Association in Moscow, higher educational institutions of Tajikistan were accepted as members of an influential scientific organization.

"Membership in this Council provides a good basis for cooperation in the exchange of experience in all areas of the university's activities with the leading universities of the CIS countries," the rector emphasized.

Recently, during a meeting of this association in Moscow, as a result of a vote, the rector of the National University of Tajikistan, Doctor of Economics, Professor Khushvakhzoda Kobiljon Khushvakht was elected Vice President of the Association of Eurasian Universities.

The purpose of the Council of the Association of Eurasian Universities is to create an international platform for discussion and exchange of best practices in the development of cooperation between higher educational institutions of the CIS countries, the search for colleagues in areas of activity, as well as improving the quality of professional activity.

Also, the leadership of the Khujand University of Law signed cooperation agreements with the Siberian Federal University, the Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University named after Minin, the University of Technology and Radioelectronics of Belarus and with a number of universities in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
